They are poor. The hunting and fishing has been bad for some time, and the father, Joar, takes the desperate measure of going on a Viking raid. Joar does not return for a long time, and the family starts to fear he never will. Runa, the oldest daughter, takes over her fathers chores in his absence. She misses him dearly and nourishes a tender hope that he, once again, will return to them. But in her heart, somehow she knows, that the suffering of the family has just begun. There is something in the air, something in the water, the wind and in the soil. Runa is becoming aware of something vile, something dangerous out in the forest. One day when she is out hunting, she finds a bleeding man, a warrior, almost unconscious. She brings him inside and the family tend to his wounds. As he heals, she realizes he is sent to protect the family from an approaching evil. And he brings news of her father.

＇﹎|零¨ヰ 说：感觉有点像类似谤法的boss，只不过女主人不会谤法。公元811年,一个家庭,孤立的在家里,在森林深处从Birka几天旅行。他们很穷。狩猎和捕鱼已经坏了一段时间,和父亲,Joar,海盗袭击的绝望的措施。Joar不返回很长一段时间,和家庭开始担心他不会。Runa,最古老的女儿接管她的父亲做家务在他的缺席。她想念他,一个温柔滋养希望他,再一次,将返回给他们。但在她的心,她知道,家庭的苦难才刚刚开始。有一些在空气中,在水中,风和在土壤中。Runa意识到邪恶的东西,是危险的森林。当她外出打猎的一天,她发现一个流血的人,一个战士,几乎不省人事。她让他在和家庭倾向于他的伤口。他治愈,她意识到他是对即将来临的邪恶派去保护家庭的。他带来的消息她的父亲。
强步白 说：还以为片子挺有意思的，没想到这么无聊，一点也不恐怖，片子一个多小时都在故弄玄虚和故作神秘，到最后才发现只不过是几个活死人。 唯一一个可爱的小妹妹也被长矛给插死了，导演编剧脑子有问题。
蛮蛮 说：1星，维京武士外出打猎，掠夺，挖坟，交易。 而家中女人满怀期待的等男人归来。舍命不舍财，被同样追寻财宝的恶人反噬。这是文化传统，看来还挺怀念这些的。可惜成本太小，拍不出什么东西来。
