少玩游戏多看书 说：这部纪录片更像是初中生（我还以为狄更斯在英国的普及度至少是初中课本的选段背诵）的读书会，而且还是那些一年都碰不到几次书本的孩子的读书会，真是接地气。比较有意思的地方，我在读雾都孤儿的时候也有卓别林的即视感，在看远大前程的时候也在想估计疯城记的编剧就是被这本书inspire的

tinkertailor 说：presenter的许多见解很有意思，最喜欢他说狄更斯的作品是“写给大人看的童书”，太绝妙了。“伟大的作家”一听就让人感觉严肃沉重，事实上狄更斯是个脑洞大开的怪诞天才，再配一点维多利亚时期特有的黑暗。（当然说了那么多我还没正经地看完过一本他的原著，惭愧。
